Bellingham Castle Wedding

It was fantastic being the wedding photographer at Michelle and Sebastian’s Bellingham Castle wedding. This couple was so energetic and up for a laugh, and their fun, quirky and elegant wedding reflected their personalities perfectly. The castle and its estate made a magnificent backdrop for the couple’s portraits and even two of my images from their wedding won awards from the IPPVA.

Sun for the stunning couple

As you can see, Michelle dazzled in her beautiful bespoke Edel Tuite dress while Sebastian looked very dapper in his suit. The groom and groomsmen all hail from Sweden with most making the journey here especially for the wedding. They were very fortunate on the day with the weather for this Irish wedding. The sun came out for the couple and their guests so everyone could relax outside on the castle grounds.

Ireland hosts the Eurovision

Michelle had the idea to do a spot of Eurovision karaoke during the dinner, in light of the fact that they had quite an international guest list to entertain. A duet between the bride and her dad was one of the highlights from all the performances. At dusk, the bride and groom headed outside with their guests to release lanterns into the evening sky creating an incredibly romantic scene.

Moves like Michelle and Sebastian

The party livened up after with wedding band, Electric Avenue , taking to the stage. This couple and their guests really knew how to light up a dancefloor with some of the craziest and fun moves I’ve ever seen. The videographer on the day, Gerry Duffy, was there to record all the fun. See Michelle and Sebastian’s wedding for yourself in my images below.
