FAQ

Is your first name really Lima?
No, it’s actually Gareth. My surname is Lima-Conlon. When I married Lidi we combined our names. So now you know!

What can we expect from you?
I like to make things easy for you so once you book me you won’t need to worry about a thing. We will meet up about a month before the big day and I’ll get all the info I need. On the day of the wedding I am mostly invisible, capturing things as they happen without interfering. I come to the house or hotel about 2hrs before the ceremony and I can either stay until dinner (6pm) or until about 30mins after the first dance (11pm)

Do you travel and is there a fee?
I can travel anywhere for a wedding so if you want me there we can make it happen! There is no travel fee for most weddings in Ireland. For destination weddings I will tailor a package that includes the travel so it will be an all in price. No hidden extras.

How long do you stay?
I can either stay until dinner (6pm) or until about 30mins after the first dance (11pm)

Do you have insurance?
YES, I’m fully covered.

Do you have backup equipment?
Yes I always carry backup equipment and shoot with two memory cards (one a copy of the other). When I get home I back up your images again and also use a cloud storage for more backup. BACKUP!

How many wedding photos will we get and how will we get them?
Usually about 400-600 Hi Res digital images that are ready to print and share as often as you like. Your images are presented on a secure online gallery with a download option.

How long will it take to get the photos?
8-12 weeks depending on the time of the year.

Do you do video?
No but I have a nice list of recommended suppliers with some great videographers on it similar to my style.

What if I’m terrible at having my photo taken?
I hear this all the time. Honestly most people feel awkward when it comes to getting in front of the camera, myself included. But fear not as most of the time you won’t even notice me there.
I’ll keep you both at ease during day so you will be looking your very best in the images.

Are you going to take us on a long and drawn out photoshoot and keep us away from our guests at the reception?
Quite the opposite actually. I usually suggest that you head straight for the reception after the ceremony for a glass of bubbly and a mingle before we do the couples portraits. I’ll only need about 20 mins with just the two of you so you will be back with your family and friends at the reception in no time.

I love all the natural photos but do you do family group shots too?
Of course. These are very important. I’m pretty efficient at getting through them but it does help to keep the numbers limited to immediate families so there are no delays in waiting on people.

How do we book you?
To secure the date with me there is a booking fee of €500 that can be transferred online. There’s also a contract that we both sign digitally. Unfortunately I can’t hold dates without the booking fee so it’s on a first come first served basis.

When should we book you?
I generally get booked about 12-18 months in advance. Popular dates throughout the year get taken pretty fast so it’s best to book early and avoid disappointment.

How much do you charge?
Collections start from €2500. Contact me for a full list of options available.

That all sounds great. Are you available for our wedding?
I really hope so. Get in touch here with your details and I’ll get back to you ASAP with all the info. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
