Ballybeg Wedding

On Saint Patrick’s Day I had the honour of being the wedding photographer at Sarah and Neil’s wedding in Ballybeg House. Ballybeg is an exclusive and intimate home from home setting in the picturesque Wicklow countryside. It was the perfect location for the couple to enjoy a relaxed day with their family and friends as they celebrated their marriage.

Irish Themed Wedding

Considering the day that was in it, the pair opted for an elegant Irish-themed wedding. There were miniature Irish flags in black pudding crostini and shamrocks adorning the ceremony, reception, and even the groom’s boxer shorts and socks.

The preparations for the bridal party took place in Grouse Lodge. It’s a secluded hidden treasure not far from the venue. There was plenty of fun and laughter as make-up artist Fiona Hogan and Hair With Envy worked their magic getting the bride and her bridesmaids ready. In a wedding dress from Fiona Todhunter, Sarah was the epitome of the Irish colleen with a stunning floral crown, tulle cape and fluffy sandals.

The Celebrations

The ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing in the Victorian-style marquee. With a private shebeen on the property, the couple were able to sneak off for some alone time, and an obligatory pint of Guinness for St Paddy’s Day. The wedding flowers were provided by Tee from Pairs and Peaches, who also co-ordinated events on the day ensuring everything ran smoothly for Sarah, Neil, and all their guests.

All the action of the day was captured by videographer Keith Malone. I hope you enjoy my images from Sarah and Neil’s wedding day.
